Ford Performance Vehicles just released
FPV F6X which they consider to be the most powerful six-cylinder SUV in today’s Australian market.
According to
Ford Performance Vehicles, the F6X will set a new benchmark in performance motoring because of its powered F6 270 Turbo 4.0-litre DOHC in-line six cylinder engine as well as its 270kW of power and 550Nm of torque that cannot be matched by any local luxury SUV equivalents.
The F6X is all Australian designed and engineered. It is the first non Falcon-based produced by FPV that extends the FPV brand itself into various markets.
FPV F6X will offer consumers a unique opportunity in Australian performance motoring.
Ford Performance Vehicle said in a statement that F6X was designed for families who want an affordable high performance luxury SUV.
It is a vehicle that mixes powerful performance of a turbo charged I6 with luxury sports style creating the ultimate sports luxury SUV, Ford Performance Vehicles said.
Because of its distinct spring and damper calibration, FPV re-tuned F6X’s ride and handling to be able to produce a firmer sports feel that further improves the primary ride control of the vehicle. An upgraded brake package also further complements F6X’s suspension featuring a premium front Brembo six piston calipers and 355mm by 32mm ventilated rotors and rear 328mm by 26mm ventilated rotors that have single piston calipers capable of sliding.
Ford Performance Vehicles also said in a press statement that the distinct style of the leather seats is a standout, eye-catching feature of the F6X, contributing to that sports luxury feeling the vehicle emits.
